I began songwriting when at the age of 19 I had a passion for memorizing Scriptures and discovered putting them to music made it easy to do.  Over the years, those songs accumulated to over a thousand. When I turned 26 I moved to California and eventually became very involved in social justice / human rights passions and my songwriting turned to those concerns.

Then, in 2007, during a visit to friends in Sacramento, I became aware of the plight of our planet vs. humanity, and the growing threat of freshwater scarcity and climate destruction, and my passions and songwriting turned to that direction.

Overall as a musician-singer-performer the current focus my music is to bring people joy through covering (reanimating) the best songs I can find through the various genres I resonated with and played and sang well: Frank Sinatra, Broadway, Elton John, Beatles, James Taylor, and John Denver… and a few other like the Eagles, Don McClean,

All the while, in the back of my mind, I never cease to pray and hope to one day be able to more fully dedicate my creative energies and technical skills toward saving our planet, our oceans, our trees… our future ability to drink, eat and breathe.  I dream of a global human revolution where we will come together to save ourselves and our one shared habitat.  I have another website where I explain my hopes for that ‘s something that interests you www.wept.tv
