Hello! I California musician, singer and songwriter who is compelled to lift people’s hearts by paying forward the gift of music which flows through me.
Before Covid hit I was enjoying the time of my life playing for many audiences in LA, making it my mission to get the smiles back on people’s faces, fell in love with audiences I would get to meet with regularly (all of you!) All you people are still in my heart and I know I am al in yours: Though we can’t currently get together in person let’s keep the music going! Say! Why don’t we?
Prior to the quarantine “stay at home, shelter in place” I enjoyed a robust music career as a minstrel to senior living facilities across LA. Shortly after the quarantine began, I began a daily sing-along music broadcast called “Comfort Hour Music” in hope of continuing to reach my senior audience, only this time through their TVs and mobile Internet devices.
A bit about my music background…
With a classical concert pianist for a mother and a singing-guitarist song leader for a dad, I began playing at the age of 4 and was playing professionally as a jazz pianist in Springfield, Ohio, by the age of 14. At a state-wide Jazz Band Festival, I was awarded “overall best soloist” and was awarded the Oscar Peterson Scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, of which he is an alumnus.
Today, I perform as frequently as possible (usually Thursdays and Sundays at 3pm Pacific Time) broadcasts on Facebook and YouTube I call “Comfort Music Hour” and “Comfort Hour Worship” (Sundays). These broadcasts are sing-alongs with lyrics, chords, singing while playing a piano, keyboard or guitar.
My beloved instruments are the Yamaha Motif ES8, Yamaha PSR-530, Taylor Acoustic Guitar, Harmonicas, G&L Interceptor Electric Guitar, Ibanez Electric Bass, and a copper-colored Trumpet.
